To effectively manage and respond to climate risks faced by Ardentec, and to demonstrate to stakeholders the Company's concrete actions and commitment to combating climate change, Ardentec joined the RE100 initiative (100% Renewable Energy, RE100) in 2023. The Company has pledged that all global sites will achieve 100% renewable energy usage and reach carbon neutrality by 2050, aligning with international sustainability initiatives. In terms of carbon reduction goals, Ardentec has established short-, medium-, and long-term targets with the ultimate objective of achieving carbon neutrality. The Company continues to align its decarbonization strategies with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), working alongside international benchmarks to develop more ambitious emission reduction pathways. Through its influence, Ardentec aims to drive decarbonization efforts across its supply chain. To mitigate the potential impacts of escalating physical climaterelated disasters on Ardentec, the Company has established a continuous objective of preventing any climate risks from disrupting its operations. In line with this commitment, Ardentec's headquarters obtained certification for ISO 22301:2019 (Business Continuity Management Systems) in 2021. This ensures that the Company is well-prepared and capable of responding promptly to any physical climate-related events, and can swiftly resume operations to meet its highest business continuity objectives.
