Ardentec is committed to reducing carbon emissions in response to the goals of the Paris Agreement, aligning with the target of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5°C. In order to be more actively involved in climate-related actions and initiatives, Ardentec joined the Taiwan Climate Alliance in 2022 and officially joined the Global Renewable Energy Initiative (RE100) in 2023, making it the first packaging and testing company in Taiwan to join RE100. Ardentec has declared that by 2050, all of our global sites will be powered 100% by renewable energy. Ardentec has planned to sign the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitment letter in 2024 and submit its carbon reduction targets by 2026. In alignment with international benchmarks, the company is developing a more proactive carbon reduction pathway. By leveraging its influence, Ardentec aims to drive its supply chain to reduce carbon emissions collectively, ensuring engagement with stakeholders on environmental issues and participation in our environmental actions. In terms of carbon reduction targets, Ardentec has committed to a phased reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, aiming to lower emissions by 10% by 2025 compared to the 2020 baseline, by 20% by 2030, by 60% by 2040, and to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. These efforts contribute to building a sustainable future. To reduce the environmental impact of its operations, Ardentec is committed to water resource management in line with the spirit of SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation. The company continuously strives towards the goals of "reduction, recycling, and reuse" by pledging to reduce water usage and withdrawals, eliminate harmful substances from water, and minimize water pollution. Water-saving solutions are implemented to enhance efficiency, and regular wastewater testing is conducted to ensure no significant environmental burden on surrounding water bodies. Each facility provides employees with clean water, regularly maintaining drinking water equipment and testing water quality to ensure sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. Social Care
All employees in Ardentec headquarters and subsidiaries overseas and in Taiwan find their interest and vision from work, and gradually integrate environmental protection concepts, actions and daily activities. Employees took the family together to serve the community and began to feedback local area. They continued to participate in social welfare activities such as caring of the disadvantaged and education support in various ways. They continued to practice corporate social responsibilities in a concrete manner, and deepened them into the mutual good culture of the Ardentec.
