To support cutting-edge research in physics and astronomy and enhance the influence of Chinese scientists in the international academic community, Ardentec launched a ten-year sponsorship Plan known as the "Ardentec Award" starting in 2022. This Plan supports the Outstanding Young Researcher Award (OYRA) established by the International Organization of Chinese Physicists and Astronomers (OCPA), continually promoting young Chinese scientists to shine on the international stage.
In 1990, the International Organization of Chinese Physicists and Astronomers (OCPA) was granted permission to establish as a nonprofit organization in the state of New York, USA. The mission of OCPA is to promote research in physics and astronomy, with a particular focus on recognizing the achievements of Chinese physicists and astronomers.
To honor the outstanding achievements of young Chinese researchers, OCPA established the Outstanding Young Researcher Award (OYRA) in 1992. Annually, one to two Chinese physicists or astronomers working outside North America, Europe, or Asia are selected to publicly receive the award, along with a cash prize of $3,000, to encourage their contributions to the scientific field.
In 2025, a committee of distinguished physicists and astronomers from the United States, China, and Hong Kong selected Dr. Norman Yao from Harvard University to receive the "2025 Outstanding Young Researcher Award (OYRA Ardentec Prize).His achievements in the fields of quantum many-body systems, non-equilibrium dynamics, and quantum simulation have garnered significant international attention. Not only have they deepened the scientific community's understanding of quantum matter, but they have also laid a critical foundation for quantum science and future quantum computing technologies.

Centering on our headquarters, we established the "Ardentec Award to Graduates" in 2017 and have continuously subsidized tuition and after-school care for underprivileged and students in special circumstances to alleviate their families' burdens. Exclusive Screening of "A Chip Odyssey" - Passing on the Spirit of Taiwan's Semiconductor Industry to Inspire Future Generations to Keep Moving Forward

In June 2025, to enhance employees' understanding of industry culture and deepen their connection to the company's mission, Ardentec rented out nine screenings at Zhubei Broadway Cinema within a week to host a private viewing event of "Mountain Makers: The Gamble of the Century," inviting a total of 1,060 employees and their family and friends to participate. Chairman, Lu, Chih-Yuan, specifically mentioned: "When everyone thought it was impossible, this group of people, with persistence and belief, waited for the right time and circumstances, eventually gathering strength from all sides to achieve the protection of the nation's mountains. This journey, where diligence is rewarded by heaven and blessings are bestowed by God, serves as a source of inspiration, encouraging us to continue our efforts. Through the documentary, the key journey of Taiwan's Semiconductor Industry breaking through limitations under challenging conditions is presented, allowing employees to understand the sense of responsibility and resilience shown by their predecessors during crucial moments of the nation's development. This further enhances their recognition of the value of the Semiconductor Industry and their own role within it.

After deepening internal education, the company also disseminated these learning achievements and the industry's spirit externally. In addition to promoting on the main island, the activity was extended to the outlying islands. In October 2025, a private screening event of the movie "Mountain Makers" was held in Kinmen, coinciding with National Quemoy University's 29th anniversary celebration. The event aimed to convey the spirit of perseverance and courage to break through in Taiwan's semiconductor industry through the film, inspiring students to draw courage and inspiration, bravely pursue their dreams, and move forward steadfastly. The event invited over 300 teachers, students, local gentry, and friends to participate. Dignitaries such as Kinmen County Deputy Magistrate, Li, Wen-Liang, and National Quemoy University Vice President, Hung, Chi-Hui, were also present to deliver speeches. They expressed gratitude to Ardentec Corporation for its support and dedication to the youth of Kinmen and hoped for continued, deepened collaboration in the future to cultivate more semiconductor talents with practical skills. In addition, in November 2025, Ardentec sponsored the College of Key Technologies at National Taiwan University to organize an educational promotion event featuring a private screening of "Mountain Makers: The Gamble of the Century." A total of 47 participants attended, providing both domestic and international students with a more comprehensive understanding of Taiwan's semiconductor industry's development trajectory. It is hoped that this will cultivate young people's interest and involvement in the technology industry, national positioning, and public issues, thereby fostering the next generation of technology talent.

Ardentec invested a total of approximately NT$450,000, with over 1,400 people participating in the "Makers of Mountains" film screening activity.
