Ardentec's operational sites adhere to relevant occupational health and safety regulations as well as both domestic and international occupational health and safety management systems. The Company has established safety and health policies and implements various safety measures to achieve risk prevention and continuously provide a safe and friendly working environment.
The headquarters and subsidiaries of Ardentec have established management systems, organizational structures, and management procedures based on the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, RBA Code of Conduct, and local regulations. Both the headquarters and all subsidiaries have successfully passed the ISO 45001:2018 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Health and safety risk assessments are conducted for various operations to identify potential risks, with audits implemented to control risks in a timely manner and achieve continuous improvement. Occupational Safety and Health Management Committee |
The composition of the labor representatives in the Occupational Health and Safety Management Committee is elected by the labor representatives from the labor-management meeting at the headquarters and GIGA subsidiary. For overseas subsidiaries, labor representatives are selected in accordance with local regulations, with the proportion of labor representatives exceeding the legal requirements. The Occupational Health and Safety Management Committee meets quarterly to review workplace safety and health plans, evaluate implementation effectiveness, coordinate activities, and provide recommendations on labor safety and health matters. All representatives are encouraged to express their opinions on safety and health during the meetings, providing a direct and transparent communication platform for labor participation. The conclusions of each committee meeting are documented and recorded, serving as a reference for future monitoring and planning of occupational health and safety initiatives.

Employee Health Checkups
Employee health checkups are conducted every two years to collect information such as employee age, work, life schedule, and working conditions. The correlation between health risks and work are analyzed to identify high-risk employees for proactive health management. Resident physicians provide consultations for employees identified as high-risk while to reduce the risk of serious illness, nurses provide regular follow-ups and support.
For employees with anomalies in the results during their health screenings, individual health instruction and education by the resident physician is organized. Assistance is provided (if necessary) to who required to seek medical treatment. Resident physicians scheduled and nurses regularly visit each site to assist in treating/preventing general/occupational diseases/injuries, and offer health advice and first-aid for all employees.
In 2024, Ardentec's headquarters conducted health check-ups for all employees. Based on the results, consultations with on-site doctors were arranged for 248 employees with abnormal findings. The medical office provided follow-up care for 2,285 employees. Health information records are managed through an electronic system, integrating health check data and enhancing the efficiency of implementing various health management measures.

Emergency Medical Service
Nurses at each site provide employees who fall ill or injured are given immediate care and assessment of the need for further medical care, and arrangement of medical institutions.
First-aid personnel in each site and shift are more than regulatory requirements. In production area, first-aid personnel uniforms are specially marked for quick and easy identification. When emergency needs arise, emergency resources can be immediately sought after.
Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are in place in all sites of headquarters and also Singapore subsidiary. Annual refreshing trainings enable personnel familiarize AED operation during emergencies.

Health Promotion Activities
Ardentec is committed to promoting the "All Employee Sports Program," which includes dedicated exercise spaces and equipment within the factory premises, as well as sports courses led by professional trainers. The Company also subsidizes various clubs to foster employees' interests and collaborates with professional counselors, leisure fitness center facilities, and on-site medical offices to host diverse health promotion activities. These activities include group walking competitions, cycling tours, stress management, weight management, and smoking cessation classes. The Company actively cultivates a sports oriented and healthy workplace atmosphere. In 2023, the headquarters was honored with the "Sports Enterprise Certification" awarded by the Ministry of Education's Sports Administration. Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Ardentec headquarters has worked hand in hand with Hsinchu Lifeline to establish an “Employee Assistance Service Program”, which assists employees in identifying and addressing various factors that affect work performance, such as stress, alcoholism, emotions, career, psychology, and health, etc. Through the assistance and support of professional consultants, the program improves the physical and mental health of our employees and enhances their work efficiency.
In 2024, a total of 24 uses of the counseling service were recorded.

Pandemic Prevention Plan
Personnel control
Various control measures are implemented according to the classification, such as restrictions on travel, meeting rooms and meeting types, work areas, restaurants, elevators, transportation vehicles, staff dormitories, etc.
Environmental cleaning and disinfection
- Strengthening cleaning and disinfection of public areas shall be performed 2 times.
- The Fabs and offices are disinfected by specialist companies once a week.
Adequate pandemic prevention resources
- Adequate medical masks, 75% alcohol, ear/forehead thermometer, etc. are prepared.
- Employees and on-site service providers are supplied with rapid test kits based on demands.
Pandemic prevention promotion
- Relevant information and control measures are announced from time to time, and the correct pandemic prevention concept is promoted.
- Vaccination information is provided to employees in a timely manner.
Pandemic prevention for dormitory
- Segregation: The elevator load limit is lowered to no more than 4 , persons to encourage the use of stairs instead of elevators. The number of people in the laundry/drying area shall be controlled, and there shall be no cross-building or cross-room activities in the dormitory.
- Going out management: It is recommended not to go outside during non-working hours, not to go to hot zones, not to eating out, register online for dormitory access, wear a mask inside the room, and wear a mask the whole time outside the room. We provide free boxed lunch, purchasing agent services and bonuses for people who don’t go out.
- Traffic management: Fixed checkerboard seating is required for the shuttle buses; passengers shall have their body temperature measured and their hands disinfected before boarding; the vehicle shall be disinfected before/after the employee gets on/off the bus; and it is forbidden to take illegal taxi.
- Disinfection: Dormitory shall be cleaned daily, and cleaning and disinfection of common areas in the company shall be enhanced.
