2024 Stellar Achievement

Energy Conservation Project

In 2024, Ardentec implemented 87 energy-saving projects. These initiatives resulted in a total electricity savings of 6,288,238 kWh, equivalent to 22,635 gigajoules, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 3,006 metric tons of CO2 equivalent.

Health Promotion

Ardentec is committed to promoting the ‘All Employee Sports Program’ by organizing diverse health promotion activities. In 2023, the headquarters was honored with the "Sports Enterprise Certification" awarded by the Ministry of Education's Sports Administration.

Technical Expertise

Efforts are continuously directed toward the advancement of test process analysis systems and real-time monitoring systems for testing machines, thereby optimizing operational efficiency to meet
the diverse needs and quality requirements of our clients.
1. Automation of testing machines increase of up to 63% in labor productivity.
2. FT Handler automation system reduced labor-related production costs by 42%.

Pollution Prevention

Water Conservation Management: In 2024, the combined water recycling volume at the headquarters and the Nanjing subsidiary reached 41,070 metric tons, accounting for 10.5% of total water withdrawal in 2024.
Waste Reduction Management: In 2024, Ardentec achieved a waste reuse rate of 98.5%, surpassing the target of > 90%. Implemented a total of 8 waste reduction and circular economy projects.

Industry and Academic Integration

Ardentec has been promoting industry-academia collaboration for 12 years. In 2024, the cumulative number of interns increased fivefold compared to 2021, with partnerships spanning 11 universities and 25 departments. A total of 306 interns have participated, with a corporate intern retention rate of 41%.

-Since 2021, Ardentec has been procuring renewable energy certificates. In 2024, the combined use of renewable electricity and renewable energy certificates totaled 22.54 million kWh, accounting for 10.4% of total electricity consumption, successfully achieving the annual target
- In 2024, the headquarters and subsidiaries reduced 10,702 metric tons of CO2 equivalent through the use of renewable energy and the procurement of renewable energy certificates, along with the purchase of 15,705 tons of carbon credits. This resulted in a 13.3% reduction in emissions from Categories 1 and 2 compared to the base year of 2020
SBTi
- Ardentec signed the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) commitment in July 2024. We plan to submit our targets for approval by 2026, responding proactively to the Paris Agreement's goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5ºC
- In 2024, the electricity-saving rate reached 2.8%, surpassing the target. Ardentec implemented 87 energy-saving projects.
