Ardentec participates in the New Colombo Plan of the Australian government
In response to an invitation from Feng Chia University, Ardentec participated in the New Colombo Plan, an initiative supported by the Australian government. On July 1, 2024, we welcomed 18 students from the University of Queensland's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science for an exchange visit.
The New Colombo Plan is a significant program endorsed by the Australian government aimed at supporting Australian students in their exchange and learning experiences in the Indo-Pacific region. Through cultural awareness and interpersonal connections, the plan seeks to deepen Australia's relationships with this region.
The event was led by Professor Shaun Chen from University of Queensland, In light of Taiwan's outstanding achievements in the semiconductor industry, CEO of International school of technology and management Kris Chung from Feng Chia University specifically requested a visit to a semiconductor company. The itinerary included a presentation and a factory tour. First, Project Director Leslie introduced Ardentec 's background story and also present the development of Taiwan's semiconductor industry and the important role played by Ardentec. Next, Director Irene and Deputy Director Ella presented on Industry 4.0 and image recognition technologies, showcasing how advanced technologies play a critical role. Project Director Chris shared the latest trends in the ESG field, emphasizing Ardentec 's achievements in environmental and social responsibilities. Additionally, Joyce discussed the current state of Taiwan's semiconductor industry talent, providing insights into market demands. Finally, the students had a more intuitive understanding of the semiconductor industry through a factory tour led by Manager Stiff and his team.
In addition to the rich content of the presentation, we have specially arranged Taiwanese iconic snacks such as bubble tea and pineapple cakes. The aim is to facilitate cultural exchange through the food. After the event, the students responded enthusiastically, with active questions and exchanges of contact information, bringing the event to a wonderful conclusion.
