Ardentec × Giga 2026 2nd ESG Award Ceremony Successfully Hosted

 

Ardentec and its subsidiary Giga hosted the 2nd ESG Award 2026 Luncheon and Award Ceremony on January 29 at the Amazing Hall in Hsinchu. The event honored teams that demonstrated exceptional performance and innovation in sustainability. This year’s 43 proposal submissions represent a 183% increase from the first year, underscoring Ardentec Group’s growing momentum in cultivating a sustainability driven culture.


Eight teams were selected as award recipients, including three Excellence in Impact Award winners and five Cool Idea Award winners. The top Excellence in Impact Award was presented to “Every Barrier Can Be Overcome — A Management Mechanism for Long Term Idle Equipment,” recognized for optimizing equipment utilization, reducing waste, and strengthening resource efficiency through systematic management. The top Cool Idea Award went to “Shared Ride, Shared Carbon Reduction,” which promotes employee carpooling to reduce commuting emissions and encourages active participation in low carbon behaviors.


This year also marked an important milestone as the award program welcomed, for the first time, participation from subsidiary Giga and supplier HSIN WEI. This expansion reflects Ardentec’s commitment to extending sustainability practices beyond internal operations and into its broader value chain. Ardentec and Giga will continue advancing sustainability governance and collaborative innovation, working across departments and across companies to build a more resilient and impactful ESG development framework.
