Ardentec Builds Forest Carbon Sinks: Environmental Protection Starts with a Single Tree
As global warming and extreme weather events intensify, the role of corporations in climate action has become increasingly critical. Ardentec has been committed to sustainable development and climate governance, demonstrating its dedication to environmental stewardship. From 2023 to 2025, Ardentec has adopted a total of 5.5 hectares of national forest land along the Dajia and Da’an Rivers in Taichung, Taiwan. It is estimated that this initiative will absorb up to 96 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually, equivalent to the carbon sequestration capacity of 0.54 Daan Forest Parks. This effort not only contributes to mitigating the greenhouse effect but also enhances air quality, maintains ecological balance, and supports biodiversity. By adopting national forest lands, Ardentec actively increases forest coverage and ecological resilience in Taiwan, integrating environmental protection into its core business operations and advancing its corporate social responsibility goals. Forest carbon sinks are a vital strategy in achieving net-zero emissions. Through this nature-based solution, Ardentec enhances its green competitiveness and contributes to supporting Taiwan’s national carbon neutrality objectives. Moving forward, Ardentec will continue to pursue energy-saving, carbon-reduction projects and conservation initiatives, working toward a sustainable, safe, and climate-resilient future that fulfils its vision of “protecting the planet through technology.” |
