Ardentec Longevity Site Wins Gold at the 2026 Taiwan Sustainable Architecture Awards (TwSAA)

Ardentec Corporation (Ardentec), a leading semiconductor testing services provider, was honored with the Gold Award in the Sustainable Factory Building category at the 2026 Second Taiwan Sustainable Architecture Awards (TwSAA).
The award recognizes Ardentec’s newly constructed Longevity Site (L-site) for its exceptional performance in low-carbon construction, intelligent resource management, and employee well-being, underscoring the company’s steadfast commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and sustainable development.

Integrating High-Tech with Green Design
Located in the Longtan Science Park, the Ardentec Longevity Site is a state-of-the-art semiconductor testing plant that balances high-efficiency manufacturing with environmental responsibility. Designed in collaboration with JJP Architects & Planners, the facility integrates "Building Life Cycle" sustainable thinking from its inception to ensure harmony between the structure and its local environment.
The facility has achieved dual recognition with the international LEED Gold certification (Building Design and Construction) and Taiwan’s EEWH Gold-level Green Building label, meeting the highest domestic and global sustainability standards.

Four Pillars of Sustainability Excellence
The Longevity Site achieves its sustainability goals through innovative construction methods and intelligent management:
• Low-Carbon Construction & Circularity: The project prioritized low-embodied carbon materials and eco-certified resources. By utilizing prefabrication techniques, Ardentec significantly reduced the carbon footprint and environmental disturbance during construction.
• Intelligent Energy & Resource Management: The plant features an automated monitoring and smart energy management platform to optimize HVAC and power efficiency in real-time. Process water and natural water sources are recycled to maximize resource utilization.

• Healthy & People-Centric Workspace: Designed with natural lighting, optimized airflow, and low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) materials, the facility provides a healthy environment. Outdoor green buffers and landscaped areas offer employees spaces for mental and physical relaxation.
• Biodiversity & Resilience: The architectural design balances modern aesthetics with energy efficiency. Through setbacks and ecological habitat compensation, the site maintains local biodiversity. Furthermore, advanced disaster prevention and seismic mechanisms ensure business continuity and operational resilience.

Leading the Green Transition and Corporate Responsibility
"The recognition of our Longevity Site is a testament to Ardentec’s long-term investment in ESG," stated Ardentec. "Beyond excellence in semiconductor testing services, we have internalized green thinking into our corporate culture. We are committed to taking concrete steps toward a sustainable future."
Ardentec has been a pioneer in the industry, becoming the first Taiwanese OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) company to join the RE100 initiative in 2023, with a self-defined roadmap to Net Zero by 2050. In April 2026, the company officially received validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its near-term carbon reduction targets.
Looking ahead, Ardentec will continue to drive low-carbon operations, scaling the successful experience of the Longevity Site across its global sites to enhance the sustainable competitiveness of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry.
