ARDENTEC Recognized for Meeting the 1.5°C Climate Target for the Fourth Consecutive Year
As the global transition toward net zero accelerates and supply chain decarbonization expectations continue to rise, ARDENTEC remains steadfast in advancing its low-carbon transformation through measurable actions. In recognition of its sustained climate performance, ARDENTEC has once again been awarded the “Aligned with the 1.5°C Climate Target” label by the Corporate Climate Action Temperature Alignment (TRIPs) assessment, jointly developed by CommonWealth Magazine and Tunghai University. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the Company has received the program’s highest recognition, reaffirming its outstanding decarbonization performance. The TRIPs assessment evaluates whether a company’s emissions reduction achievements and future decarbonization pathway are aligned with the Paris Agreement’s goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. Based on internationally recognized scientific methodologies, the framework provides an objective benchmark for corporate climate performance. ARDENTEC’s four consecutive years of recognition reflect the Company’s long-term commitment to low-carbon operations and its unwavering dedication to environmental sustainability. In recent years, ARDENTEC has continued to implement comprehensive energy-saving and carbon reduction initiatives, including improving energy efficiency, deploying energy-efficient equipment, optimizing manufacturing processes, and strengthening its carbon management system. The Company has also enhanced its climate governance framework to support its long-term sustainability strategy. Following its commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2024, ARDENTEC’s Near-Term emissions reduction targets were officially validated by the SBTi in April 2026, demonstrating that the Company’s climate strategy is fully aligned with internationally recognized scientific standards.

In addition to securing SBTi target validation, the Company earned a CDP Climate Change Leadership (A List) rating, further strengthening its position as a sustainability leader within the semiconductor industry. ARDENTEC also successfully upgraded the external assurance of its Sustainability Report and continues to advance its alignment with IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, while further enhancing climate-related data management and ESG governance practices. Looking ahead, ARDENTEC will continue accelerating its low-carbon transformation, working closely with customers, suppliers, and partners across the value chain to drive sustainable growth. By embedding sustainability into every aspect of its operations and decision-making, the Company remains committed to contributing to the global effort to keep the 1.5°C goal within reach and create lasting value for society and future generations. |
