Aligning with Global Sustainability Governance Trends: Ardentec Updates Sustainability Leader Title

 

To further strengthen its sustainability governance framework and align with global sustainability trends, Ardentec has officially updated the English title of its sustainability leader to Chief ESG Officer (CESGO), effective immediately. The new title highlights the integrated expertise across Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dimensions, demonstrating Ardentec’s commitment to advancing ESG governance, enhancing decision-making mechanisms, and strengthening its global sustainability alignment.
With a long-standing commitment to sustainable development, Ardentec has published 14 sustainability reports as of 2025 and established a dedicated Sustainability Department and the ESG Sustainability Operation Committee, led by C-level executives to oversee sustainability strategies and drive cross-functional initiatives. The Company has also been recognized among the top 5% of listed and emerging market companies in the Corporate Governance Evaluation for nine consecutive years and proactively initiated the implementation of the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (S1/S2).
In environmental sustainability, Ardentec has committed to achieving 100% renewable energy usage by 2050 under the RE100 initiative and further demonstrated its climate action commitment by receiving approval of its SBTi Near-Term Science-Based Targets in April 2026. These milestones reflect Ardentec’s transition from establishing sustainability foundations toward a more mature stage of ESG integration and transformation.
This title update not only aligns with the Company’s existing ESG Sustainability Operation Committee structure but also reflects Ardentec’s current strategic focus on ESG governance, IFRS sustainability disclosure, RBA compliance, and cross-functional sustainability management.
Looking ahead, guided by the CESGO leadership role, Ardentec will continue to enhance sustainability governance effectiveness, strengthen corporate resilience, and create positive environmental and social impact.
