CDP Disclosure : Ardentec outperformed the Asian region and the electronic industry average

Ardentec outperformed the Asian region and the electronic industry average, earning double B score from CDP for both climate change and water security.

 

The CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) 2023 evaluation results were officially announced in early February 2024. Total of 157 companies in Taiwan were evaluated and made public their results on the climate change questionnaire, and a total of 98 companies in Taiwan were evaluated and made public their results on the water Security questionnaire.
Ardentec has participated in the disclosure of the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire and Water Security Questionnaire since 2020. In 2023, the rating grades of climate change questionnaires and water security questionnaires are B-level, both of which are better than the average C-level rating in Asia and the electronics industry.
Ardentec has actively implemented low-carbon transformation and participated in international initiatives in recent years. In June 2023, it officially became a member of the global renewable energy initiative (RE100), led by The Climate Group (TCG) and the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), and is the pioneering Taiwanese packaging and testing company to embrace this initiative. Ardentec pledges to meet the target of 100% renewable energy by 2050 across all operational sites, including Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Nanjing, etc.
In addition, as the global supply chain pays more and more attention to carbon reduction performance, Ardentec has set short, medium and long-term carbon reduction targets. The total reduction targets for greenhouse gas categories 1 and 2 are 10% in 2025 and 10% in 2030: 20%; 2040: 60%; Achieve carbon neutrality in 2050, demonstrating Ardentec’s determination to reduce carbon emissions.
Even though Ardentec is not water intensive company and have relatively low water consumption, Ardentec commits to "reduce, recycle, efficiency and pollution reduction" water resources while continuously management practices.
