Ardentec Awarded the "1.5°C Climate Control Target Certification” for Three Consecutive Years
Ardentec is proactively confronting climate change risks and demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability through effective climate adaptation and mitigation management. We are honored to have been rated “Excellent” in the Temperature Rising Index for Pathways, TRIPs evaluation initiated by CommonWealth Magazine for three consecutive years, receiving the "1.5°C Climate Control Target Certification". In 2022, CommonWealth Magazine and TungHai University established the “Temperature Rising Index for Pathways, TRIPs,” the only platform in Taiwan that adopts UN IPCC methodology to align corporate temperature trajectories with global warming pathways. Through the Absolute Global Temperature Potential (AGTP), it collects all Taiwanese corporate sustainability reports and simulates five warming scenarios to make linear predictions for corporate temperature ratings. In 2025, a total of 1,200 companies across Taiwan participated in the evaluation, with 405 companies meeting the 1.5 °C target—an inspiring increase compared to 220 companies last year and 92 the year before—showing that more institutions in Taiwan are aligning their carbon reduction efforts with international standards. Holding the warming limit below 1.5°C while operating a company requires consideration from many aspects and is not an easy task. From top to bottom, all employees take action not only to maintain the earth’s warming limit but also to continue fulfilling the RE100 commitment, striving to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, planting seeds for sustainable development to grow strong. |
