Ardentec 2024 Sustainability Report Officially Released

Ardentec published its 13th Sustainability Report in July 2025. Since 2012, Ardentec has voluntarily prepared and released Corporate Social Responsibility/Sustainability Reports, even before regulatory requirements, and has now reached its 13th year. Through the compilation process, Ardentec reviews the impact of its operations on the environment, society, and economy, and communicates sustainability information and performance transparently to all stakeholders.
Ardentec is committed to promoting diverse development in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Amid climate change adaptation trends and geopolitical impacts, Ardentec continues to move forward steadily on the path of sustainability. After joining the RE100 global renewable energy initiative in 2023, Ardentec also signed the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in July 2024, committing to concrete actions to actively support the Paris Agreement goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. In the same year, Ardentec received the “1.5°C Climate Control Target Certification” from the CommonWealth Sustainable Business Committee. In line with sustainability initiatives and commitments, Ardentec implemented 87 energy-saving projects in 2024, saving a total of 6,288,238 kWh of electricity, and reducing 3,006 metric tons of CO₂e greenhouse gas emissions. Beyond energy saving, in waste reduction, initiatives ranged from packaging reduction, paperless projects to circular economy practices. These included reuse of wooden pallets and inorganic sludge, and the introduction of PackAge+ reusable boxes, achieving a waste reuse rate of 98.5%.
In human resource development and employee care, Ardentec continues to discover local talent by cooperating with universities to establish named courses and internship programs, cultivating young students as future semiconductor professionals. Ardentec also actively engages in global recruitment to build a diverse and international workplace, while valuing retention and promotion of foreign talent. In 2024, the company welcomed its first promoted mid-level foreign technical professional, enabling continued contribution in Taiwan, and achieved a 90% renewal rate for migrant workers. While pursuing stable and sustainable business development, Ardentec also extends support to the environment and society, engaging in biodiversity actions, continuous donations to local arts and education, and contributions to local social welfare organizations, spreading care and forming a positive social cycle.
Corporate governance is also an important driver of sustainability. Ardentec complies with regulations and meets all requirements. In 2024, the company was honored to be ranked in the top 5% of the Corporate Governance Evaluation for OTC companies for the eighth consecutive year. At the same time, Ardentec fosters a culture and capability of sustainability within the company. In 2024, it held the first ESG Award, encouraging employees to present creative ideas and engage in communication with management and colleagues. In supply chain management, Ardentec also emphasizes learning from benchmark companies and passing on knowledge to suppliers, requiring compliance with relevant laws and standards to realize sustainable supply chain management. On the sustainability journey, all partners are allies, learning and growing together, with the vision of building a sustainable society.
