Ardentec Corporation and the Hsinchu Industrial Park jointly hosted the first “Xingong Cup” basketball invitational for migrant workers, organized by Minghsin University’s Sports Management Department. The event, which took place on Saturday, Nov. 2nd, and Sun., Nov. 3rd, at the Minghsin University gym, was lively and engaging, with over 100 migrant workers from the industrial park participating. Chris Chou, Senior Director of Ardentec Corporation’s ESG and HR/GS Center, stated that Ardentec values diversity, equality, and shared prosperity. In addition to providing a safe working environment, the company encourages everyone to participate in activities that enrich their lives. Filipino employees Bama and Anthony, who were passionate about basketball to relieve stress outside of work, quickly rallied their colleagues to form a team when they learned about the tournament. Through this competition, they honed their basketball skills and had the opportunity to meet fellow Filipino basketball enthusiasts from different companies living abroad. Bama expressed gratitude for the thoughtful arrangements by the industrial park and related organizations, as well as for the sponsorship and support provided by Ardentec Corporation, which allowed them to showcase their skills and strengthen team cohesion. Anthony added, “As members of Ardentec Corporation, we feel very proud and look forward to participating in other sports competitions such as volleyball, badminton, or swimming in the future to enjoy the fun that sports bring.” |
