On the morning of March 4th, President Lai met with Chi-Ming Chang, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Ardentec Corporation, along with other recipients of the National Outstanding Manager Award. The President stated that all the award winners are the helmsmen and foundation of Taiwan's economy. He expressed gratitude to businesses and the people of Taiwan for their collective efforts, noting that Taiwan’s economic growth rate reached 4.3% last year - the highest in the past three years - delivering an impressive performance. While global economic risks remain in the new year, Taiwan holds a crucial position in the supply chain. Moreover, with the accelerated expansion of emerging technologies such as AI, Taiwan’s export and investment momentum is expected to benefit significantly. The President concluded by once again expressing his highest recognition and appreciation to the award winners. He also encouraged everyone to continue working together to strengthening Taiwan's capabilities, uniting society, and enhancing Taiwan's global brand. Chang Chi-Ming, Vice Chairman and President of Ardentec, was honored with the National Outstanding General Manager Award, presented by the Chinese Professional Management Association, in recognition of his exceptional corporate governance abilities. With keen insight into the semiconductor industry and global trends, Chang has actively driven Ardentec’s international expansion, establishing multiple overseas operational facilities since 2006. This strategic foresight has helped the company stay ahead of geopolitical challenges. Upholding a business philosophy that prioritizes quality and customer satisfaction, Ardentec has earned the trust of major global corporations, securing its leading position in the IC testing industry. Despite the ever-changing global landscape, Chang has consistently led the company to outstanding achievements. Over the past 25 years, Ardentec has repeatedly received Annual Supplier Awards from top-tier clients across Europe, the United States, and Japan. Beyond pursuing continuous business growth, Chang is also dedicated to corporate governance and promoting diverse ESG initiatives. Ardentec has been ranked in the top 5% of TPEx-listed companies for 7 consecutive years, and it was the first in Taiwan's testing industry to join the RE100 initiative and commit to the Science Based Targets initiative, demonstrating its determination to combat climate change. |
