3rd ESG Award Kicks Off — Turning Ideas into Lasting Impact!
Since its launch, the ESG Award has received enthusiastic participation and positive feedback across the organization. Now in its third year, the program has received a total of 58 proposals, reflecting the steady growth of sustainability awareness and innovation throughout the company. Centered on the theme “Creativity × Action × Impact ∞,” the 2027 ESG Award continues to serve as an important platform where sustainability ideas can be transformed into meaningful actions with lasting impact. This year, Ardentec Headquarters once again partners with its subsidiary Giga Solution to promote the ESG Award, inviting employees and suppliers to contribute innovative ideas and actionable solutions that drive sustainable development. The call for submissions is now officially open and will run through October 15. The competition format remains consistent with previous years, encouraging both first-time and returning participants to submit their ideas and projects. We believe every great idea deserves more than one opportunity to make an impact.

To date, a number of ESG Award proposals have gradually evolved from ideas into real-world implementation. One example is "Move Green, Let the Future Be Seen!", a proposal submitted to the 2nd ESG Award. Inspired by this proposal, the company has replaced aging fitness equipment and introduced energy-generating exercise machines at both K-site and L-site, combining physical activity with energy conversion. The initiative encourages healthy lifestyles among employees while also promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction in everyday life. Another award-winning proposal, "Sit Smart, Work Better: Height-Adjustable Workstations," has inspired workplace planning initiatives. Drawing on the concept of this proposal, the General Affairs Department plans to establish mobile office areas at both L-site and T-site, providing employees with alternative work options such as standing workstations. From an initial idea to a concrete sustainability initiative, the ESG Award is not only a platform for generating sustainability ideas, but also an opportunity for valuable proposals to be recognized, implemented, and make a meaningful impact. To further extend the spirit of sustainability from projects into everyday life, this year's ESG Award also features a special outreach activity under the theme "Local Revitalization × Caring for the Disadvantaged." In collaboration with Walk in Taiwan, participants will take part in a one-day Hukou walking tour, exploring local culture and community development through on-site experiences and meaningful interactions. Through this activity, employees will gain a deeper understanding of Hukou's local culture and community development efforts while learning how collaboration between businesses, local industries, and communities can contribute to sustainable local development. We hope these experiences will inspire participants to integrate sustainability values into their daily lives. As the ESG Award enters its third year, we look forward to inspiring even more sustainability-driven creativity and action. Through every proposal, every achievement, and every step of implementation, we aim to transform creativity into action and action into impact.
