Ardentec Supports Marine Ecosystems Using Data to Protect Coral Reefs

In partnership with the Trust in Nature Foundation, Ardentec has rolled out the “Coral Reef Health Check” initiative and showcased its marine conservation achievements on the Ocean Conservation Administration’s ESG Matching Platform. Coral reefs, often called the “tropical rainforests of the ocean,” support rich biodiversity and act as natural buffers for coastal ecosystems. Yet climate change, rising sea temperatures, and human activity continue to threaten their health.

Through professional training and standardized survey methods, Ardentec empowers volunteer teams to monitor coral coverage, biological indicators, and environmental conditions, converting volunteer efforts into scientifically valuable data. In 2025, the initiative covered 23,600 square meters across Taiwan, completing 27 survey sites and 24 coral reef health checks. Six public workshops and ecological seminars engaged 175 participants.

Internally, Ardentec also held marine ecology lectures for employees, with 119 colleagues attending and learning from expert ecological divers. These programs embed conservation into the company culture, transforming awareness into action.

Looking forward, Ardentec will continue to leverage science-driven, action-oriented approaches, collaborating with professional partners and supply chain stakeholders to advance impactful marine sustainability initiatives and safeguard Taiwan’s precious coral ecosystems.
